Candidate Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Van Dyke Strategic Consulting Group, LLC (VDSCG) handles information you choose to submit to our future talent network. This is a voluntary expression of interest, not an application to an advertised vacancy or an employment offer.

What we collect

We collect your name, email address, resume, selected disciplines, work preferences, and any phone number or city and state you choose to provide. We also keep a submission reference and a record of the consent wording, notice version, and time of submission.

The form uses a short-lived security cookie and hashed technical identifiers to help prevent fraudulent submissions and abuse. Our hosting providers may process connection and security logs as part of operating the website.

How we use your information

We use your information to review your experience against potential future needs, contact you about possible opportunities, manage your submission, and respond to your requests. Joining does not guarantee contact, an interview, employment, or a contract award. We do not sell candidate information or use this form to make automated hiring decisions.

Who can access it

Resumes are stored privately, with access restricted to the authorized VDSCG administrator. Hosting and infrastructure providers process information as needed to operate and protect the service. Our email service may send generic submission alerts to the designated VDSCG recipient. These alerts contain a link to the restricted inbox and do not include your resume or candidate contact details. VDSCG will ask for your permission before sharing your resume with a prospective client or prime contractor, unless disclosure is required by law.

How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS, restricted administrative access, private file storage, and submission checks. Resume files are not published to the website. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please send only information appropriate for a professional resume.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, birth dates, a full home address, identity documents, banking or medical information, classified or controlled information, or clearance documents. The form accepts standard PDF files of up to 5 MB and rejects password-protected files and certain active or embedded content.

How long we keep it

We retain your submission while your consent remains active and your information remains relevant to potential future opportunities, until you withdraw it or VDSCG determines it is no longer needed. This talent network does not currently apply a fixed automatic deletion date. VDSCG is responsible for periodically reviewing and removing information that is no longer needed.

Withdrawal removes your submission and resume from the active talent-network database and file storage. Provider security logs and backups, if any, may follow separate retention schedules. Information collected during a later hiring process may be covered by a separate notice and applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Your choices and withdrawal

Both consent checkboxes are optional to you, but required to join this voluntary network. You may decline by not submitting. Withdrawing will not affect the handling of your information before withdrawal.

After a successful submission, we show a private withdrawal link once. No confirmation email is sent. Save that link securely: anyone who has it can withdraw and delete the submission. Opening the link alone does not delete anything; you must confirm the request.

To update your resume or details, withdraw the earlier submission and submit a new one. You can also ask VDSCG about access, correction, or deletion by email. If you have lost your private link, contact us using the email address in your submission. We may ask for limited additional information to verify your identity before acting.

Cookies and sign-in

The candidate form uses an essential security cookie that expires after one hour. We do not add advertising trackers to this form, and candidates do not need an account. Staff use the hosting platform’s sign-in service to access the restricted review inbox.
